2007 Saturn Ion Repair Question

Saturn won't turn off after key is removed
2007 Saturn Ion2: Car is turned off, key is removed yet engine still runs for 30 seconds or more.
Body Control Module has already been replaced due to multiple battery draining issues. Any advice??

Could be dieseling due to throttle plate not closing completely or engine overheating creating pre-ignition and ignition switch problem
