Is there any way you could explain exactly how to replace this O2 sensor? I had the mechanic replace it with a Bosch sensor but found out Bosch apparently doesn't work well with my car. My CEL is still on and I hope it's only the sensor. I ordered an AC Delco sensor and plan to replace it this weekend. Is there an easy way to get to this sensor or identify where it is? Do these instructions sound right?

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) retainer.

3. Disconnect the engine heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connector from the engine wiring harness electrical connector.

4. Remove the HO2S using the J 39194-B.

5. Coat the threads of the HO2S with anti-seize compound.

6. Install and tighten the HO2S to 31 ft. Lbs. (42 Nm).

7. Connect the engine HO2S electrical connector to the engine wiring harness electrical connector.

8. Install the CPA retainer.

9. Lower the vehicle.

Sensor 2 is located on the exhaust after the converter. Yes, the directions sound correct.
