I used a camera to observe the Pressure plate in motion. Is there a possibility that air might be in the system?

possible but you said the pedal was firm.
what was the original issue and how long ago did you replace the slave??

About two weeks ago. The slave had to be replaced because it was leaking inside the bell housing. It had no pressure at the time. I'll replace the clutch /pressure plate and attempt to bench bleed the slave.

The car has been in the garage on stands for months.
