Ford Explorer Rpm Problem
06 Ford explorer rpms at 2500 or higher at highway speed but nomal after. Sometimes rough idle at start up

Usually is around 2000 at highway or normal driving. Just seems higher than normal

ok, is the overdrive button flashing??
it sounds like the trans is not in lock up which would explain the higher rpm
