V6, THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR

2005 Saturn L300 • 127 miles

Engine surges and dies, stumbles & shaking front of car. Error codes p0102, p2110 come up. If this is the throttle position sensor, how you test it and if the sensor is bad can just the sensor be changed or does the whole throttle body need to be changed? Can the throttle sensor cause a false reading to the MAF sensor, MAF was replaced 7 months ago. Thanks.

Just to add to this one for the code P2110 looks like you need to replace the ecm I posted the trouble tree for you to follow.

Cleaned MAF sensor, cleared DTC, car idled for 5 minutes and stopped. Rescanned, code P0102 only.

MAF sensor could be defective, wiring and the computer itself

Is there a way to test the MAF and the computer before replacing the MAF?

Yeider, what have you found out based on those diagnostic steps?
