Mercury Mountaineer Battery Problem
Had a bad battery...needed a jump...after jump the fail safe mode and limb mode came on...i replaced the battery but the modes are still there...how od i remove them...it won.t accelerate to move

jumping a battery is never a good idea with newer cars. voltage spikes are deadly to modules and computers.
limp Mode?????? safe mode???? please explain as they do not exist. what are you encountering??? is the check engine light on??
