Low power
My car has manual transmission. the problem is when you overtake and put the gear to 2nd, the power is low and then after few seconds it will accelerate very quickly. we already changed some valves, changed spark plugs. I am a woman so my knowledge on these things are very minimal if none at all. thank you.

could be a failing clutch. have a shop check it for you to confirm.

Thanks. Should I replace the whole clutch assembly or just parts of it such as the pressure plate, etc. The clutch assembly is too expensive. Thanks again.

It is recommended to replace the clutch as an assy but if the pressure plate is still in good condition, which I doubt it woud be if the clutch is slipping, you can reuse it.
