Hello I have a 2005 durango and recently it started to not shift from 1 to second and if it does it revs higher and goes hard into second fluid if full and not burnt trani does not slip. Also sometimes the trani acts like it doesnt know what gear to do in. Would a shift solinoid cause these problems? If so is it an expensive fix?

Governor pressure sensor is a common failure for this condition and can be verified with a scan tool to see the needed pressure verus the actual pressure.

The valve body has to be removed to access it. The valve is about 100 and the labor is 3 hours
