Hello,

I had over heating problem with my escalade 2005 and am not sure if the thermostat ok or no, so I would like to know if I have to replace it randomly? " For example once every 100000 miles"

I would like to mention that the coolant level some times founded low so I have to top up 0.5 L every 3 days. And the left fan speed is slow

So please advice me.

Thanks in advance

Based on this info, it is unlikely that the thermostat is causing this issue.

The fan is not going to be related but we are going to have to start with checking for head gasket issues.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

We can also check the compression which at this point would be a good idea.

Please run through this info and see if the head gasket is the issue.

If not, then we are going to have to look for leaks and go from there.

Please let me know what questions you have. Thanks
