Is a fuel induction cleaning a necessary maintenance for a 2004 VW Passat V-6 @ 30,000 miles? This service has never been performed on this vehicle.

On car fuel system cleaning(not just a bottle in the tank) will help with power and economy, injectors do foul up and spray patterns can be effected, you require a good spray pattern to help mix the fuel into the air, i would get this done.
