2004 Renault Megane O2 sensor/cat converter

Engine management light came on. Garage did a code reading and showed a failed o2 sensor. I believe it was the one behind the cat converter. It has now been replaced.

the engine is quite noisy (petrol engine), and they mentioned possible issues with the cat converter?
its not had the cambelt changed so that is booked in to be checked/changed along with possibly the water pump.

i know cat converters are expensive if damaged. Im just wondering if now the o2 sensor has been changed that the cat converter will be ok (if not already damaged, will check.)
and will the noisy engine be because of cambelt & cat converter issues?
i dont know much about cars so need advice and concerned its going to get expensive.

That sensor does not effect the converter in any way. It merely monitors it to let you know if the converter is not doing it's job properly.

You need to find out where that noise is originating from first.

Still no good. Even if you remove the https from the beginning which shouldn't be there, it still doesn't work.
