I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am and I am experiencing difficulty turning the car to the left. Steering wheel turns, but the fron passenger wheel does not. What could this be?

Car seems to not turn to the left very well. I can turn the steering wheel however the passenger side front wheel is not moving.

It sounds like a broken tie rod, inspect for disconnected inner or outer tie rods by jacking that side up, if you can move the wheel, you have a busted tie rod.

Thank you that's what I thought. Any idea of how much this repair should cost?

Xdepends if its the inner or outer, or the rack. Needs to be checked out. The cheapest is the outer, maybe 50.00 plus labor. All the way to 400.00-600.00 for a complete rack.
