I have a sensor that was broken off by a rock on the transmission. It is located on the drivers side pretty much directly behind the lower strut mounting point. The plug was also cut off the wire at the same time. It has two wires going to it and looks to have pipe threads to screw into the transmission. I also need to know where I can get the plug and what I would need to ask for. The only thing I have noticed is that the engine does not idle down like it did when stopping and depressing the clutch, idles down slow. Also the check engine light is on.

"a rock on the transmission"? Your transmission had a rock on it? "Bad rock!" :)

There's going to be a diagnostic fault code related to this. The people at many auto parts stores will read them for you for free. Be sure to write down the exact code number(s), not just the descriptions.

The easiest for this is to visit a salvage yard and remove the sensor, plug, and about 6" of the wires. Splice and solder the wires to your wiring harness, then seal the joints with heat-shrink tubing with hot-melt glue inside. Butt connectors and Scotch-Lok connectors are not acceptable because they don't even try to seal out moisture. Don't use electrical tape either. That will unravel into a gooey mess on a hot day.
