SES light 2010 Nissan Sentra
I have a 2010 Nissan Sentra with 3500 miles on it. The SES light came on how do I rest it ?? Car is running fine.

Is is your service engine soon light or your maintence light? If it is your service engine light, you will have to get the car scanned for trouble codes and start diagnoses there.

SES light I used my friends scaner it was a lose gas cap. But tell me about the maintence light. If it goes on how do I trun that off. Also I saw something on the net regarding the SES rest turn key on do not start cat depress gas 5x wait 7sec press gas ect.. that did not work.

The service engine soon light cant be reset, it has to be cleared with a compatible scan tool, after repairs, the maintence light (if it has one) on the other hand can be reset after maintence performed (oil change). Reset procedure should be found in owners manual.
