My 2004 Honda Civic has started making a ticking/clicking sound which seems to come from the front driver's wheel, and increases with acceleration, but then can't be heard at higher speeds. Any suggestions as to what this could be? The brakes and pads were recently replaced.

Check the pads are fitted correctly and all attach bolts are tight and check that the drive shaft lock nut is dead tight as well, start here.

If this is worse when accelerating around a corner, then it could be a bad C/V axle on that side. You can look under the car and see if the boot is torn.
