Ford Freestar Check engine light Problem
My freestar will not shift into 4th gear(OD)?
I suspect it is a solenoid problem as it shudders at about 45-55 MPH like it wants to shift.
Any help will be greatly appreicated.

shuttering may be the troque converter. it may be internal failure.
is the check engine light on??
