I have a 2004 Chevrolet Impala LS with a 3.8 engine that cranks up then shuts off.

I have a 2004 Chevrolet Impala Ls with a 3.8 engine and aprox 121,000 miles that starts up the shuts off before I can even back out. I got plugs, wires, oxygen sensor, and a new battery put in about 2 days ago. I would like to know whats wrong or if someone can steer me in the right direction, because I am running out of money?

Check fuel pressure if its within specs and then clean the idle air control valve

Possible bad fuel inj reading too many ohms. This will do just as you described and shut off inj pulse. Check all injectors for at least one that is out of range
