what if my heater isnt hot?

Check the coolant level, thermostat, heater core, heater control valve and air blend door/actuator

I am thinking it might be the thermostat because sometimes it is hot and then it will go cold. I turn it off for a few minutes and then turn it back on and it will be warm again.
