Psm warning light

Hi i have a 03 porsche cayenne i would like to know what causes the psm warning light and check engine light to come on and how can i fix it? the car also has no power while im driving

You need a scan to find out what is causing the indicator lights to come on. There are numerous sensors and electrical components within the system that can trigger the indicator lights to come on.

yeah but would that also cause the lose of power and the car just reves out like its misfiring

Of course. The CEL shows when an error has been detected and it could be anything from engine stalling to misfiring or even go to " limp mode ". The PSM indicator light could be due to the fault as indicated by the CEL.
