2003 MG ZR Repair Question

When driving with the engine cold. whening press the clutch the revs fall and the egine stalls. then restarts with alittle trouble what could this be?
I have changed the spark plugs and leads. however not the ignition coils. engine runs very well once warm.

Do you have a check engine light?
Check the idle air control valve

Have no warning lights on dashboard at all.

Check the IACV and the fuel pressure with a gauge

I have replaced the IACV and checked the fuel pressure and was fine. However same problem still exists. Also Forgot to mention that car is slow and sluggish when cold.
