When the engine is cold. Car is down on power, and when clutch is pressed revs fall and engine stalls. What is wrong?

After stalling it restarts but will a little trouble. I have changed the spark plugs and leads. And replaced the idle air control valve. And fuel pressure is fine. But problem still remains. Car is a 2004 53 plate MG ZR 1.4

Check if the clutch is slipping. Also refer to this link:http://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-has-low-power-output

The clutch is not slipping. Engine runs really lumpy when cold. But does get better as the engine warms up then runs fine once warm. And only stalls when cold. Have no problems once warm.
