Idler pulley/serpentine belt

I have a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis GS with 125k miles.
The idler pulley is starting to wobble and make noise.
Should it be replaced, and should I also replace the serpentine belt a I do not know if it is original.
What shoould a repair like this cost ?

The idler pulley should be replaced asap before it breaks loose and causes more damage.I would like labor would be 1.2hrs labor times shop labor rate. Then maybe 50 for the idler pulley plus tax.I would look at belt and see if its cracking or looks worn if it is then i would replace it.

Yes, replace it. If you have a basic set of tools, you can do it yourself. The idler pulley should have a bolt in the middle of it. Remove belt, remove said bolt. If the old belt looks ok, keep it for a spare.
