What could be causing a burning smell to emerge?

After and while driving I smell this burning smell emerge, but the car is not over heating nor is it showing any driving difficulty, it simply makes this distinctive smell that resembles rubber or some kind of fluid burning.

Have you looked on top of the engine really good for any leaks or hoses sitting on a hot part of the engine? Also, have you looked under the car for any leaks that may be dripping on the exhaust that may not be hitting the ground. Then I would double check all of the fluid levels on the vehicle.
