Last night when I turned the car off, it smelled like overheating and there was a loud spinning noise coming from the back middle engine area somewhere. Sounds like its around the starter. I disconnected the battery, and soon as its connected again, the spinning noise starts and wont stop. Smells like burning wires or rubber. What is this?

Have a pro check this out. It could be a bad starter even though it's new or solenoid on starter sticking.
