2003 GMC Safari Repair Question

2003 safari van wont start, but it turns over

You said earlier your getting a flashing security light so that would mean the computer is shutting off your injector pluse.

If the security light is on then the problem is with the security system and the problem will have to be diagnosed.You will have to start with getting the codes with a code reader.you can try a basic code reader to see what comes up.But you may need a more advanced scanner that can read body control module codes.

if it was the securiy sys.or the car would not even crank.this hast to be afuel problem.rent a pressure tester from the parts store.turn the key on and read the pressure then do a leak down test turn the key off.come back in 15 mins. the gauge should read yhe same.then come back.

I just double checked and the fuel injectors are disabled not the starter.You can look for yourself if you like on the earlier gm cars the starters were disabled.The later gm cars they started disabling the injectors.So you will get a crank no start so if the security light is coming on and you have a crank and no start i would start with diagnosing that.
