My mothers car a 2003 Malibu has a what sounds like the signals are clicking in the dash. Starts when signals are used, and gets faster and slower then sometimes stops sometimes does not. I changed the E flasher switch out and same thing. I have searched the Web and found maybe the signal switch maybe the prob. Any help with diag. Or solutions would be appreciated Thanks

This is most likely a relay clicking but we need to start with checking the battery.

A weak battery will cause the relays to click as they are engaging and disengaging as the voltage hovers around 10-12 volts.

If the battery checks okay, then we need to touch each relay and find out which one is clicking.

Once we do, we can swap it with another relay and see if it still clicks in the same location.

Please run through this info and let me know what you find. Thanks
