Sorry I copied and pasted and didnt realize I have a 2002 pontiac sunfire that has about 87,000 miles on it and it has been having a lot of electrical issues. First my right side tail light worked then didn't work for about a month or maybe a little more then went out while this was going on for about a month one morning I went to warm up my car everything turned on fine then when I went back out to leave when I put the car in gear the headlight flased 5 times took out the passanger light then turned on the service light. Then about three days later it took out my driverside light too but the brights continued to work. When you would put the car in gear the normal beam would flash on 5 times then turn off. Took it to a dealership they said I had 4 lights burned out even though I explained how everything happened they still said that was it and just replaced them. Everything has been going downhill since then. Now my car hesitates to start even though I have a new battery and my alternator and starter is fine. My radio won't turn on until your driving the car for a little my theft system light is on my service light is on, and while you are driving the gas gauge, and temperature gauge dropes at random and the check gauges light comes on and the e break light comes on and the daytime lights icon on the dash turns off. I have had my negative batter cable replaced my wire that grounds out the battery replaced all my fuses have been check and wireing under and around the battery also looked fine. Any ideas? I'm at a loss and cannot afford a new car and if I can find out what needs to be fixed before taking it somewhere I might be able afford to fix it. Help please!

The gauges could be a bad body control module along with some of the other problems could be caused by a bad body control module. Are you having issues with door locks keyless entry etc?Ever have random crank no starts? We need to get the car scanned for codes it will help narrow down the issues.

Actually yes I foregot to mention the my car alarm randomlly sets iutself off my trunk pops itself sometimes and my keyless entry the unlock button like never works and the lock button sometimes works fine then sometimes it beeps 3 times at me and locks and unlocks the doors. Also when you unlock the car with the key the alarm goes off and it didnt do that when I got the car. I had to get it jumped like 2 weeks ago and sometimes its hard to start. I had it scanned and the machine kept saying coult not connect to car then when my cousin jiggled it around it would randomally connect then disconnect he got 2 codes cause when it connects it saves them to review and they were the one that had to do with the negative connector to the battery thats why I replaced it then the other one had to do with the data controle module
