When the manual locking hubs are locked in and the truck is in 2wd it feels like you are driving in 4wd on pavement.
When the manual locking hubs are locked in and the truck is in 2wd, when you are driving on pavement it feels like you are in 4wd. Everything binds up and is tight.

on dry pavement, it is not uncommon for that feeling.
make sure the bearings are cleaned and packed with grease.
does the feeling change when it is in 4 wheel drive??

it does it on dirt and pavement with hubs locked in but in 2 wd. and does same thing locked in full 4wd.

Possibly the 4WD is locked even though you are using 2WD.
