4 wheel drive not working

The service 4wd light came on and the dealership said it was the 4wd actuator. I replaced the actuator myself (and the selector swith on the dash). I disconnected the battery to clear the code. After all that the actuator still does not work, and the new selector switch does not light up telling me wheather I'm in 2wd or 4wd.
I'm not sure what to check next. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Aaron

Most likely has to be programmed after replacing the parts. Call the dealer and ask them. I have done them in the past and had to flash the units to mkae them work.
