2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser Repair Question

Help with 2002 pt cruiser wont start now that the oil light came on.
Hi I have a 2002 pt cruiser with a 102,000 mils. I was driving on the free way and the oil light came on be for I could pull over the car started to slow down and then just died on me. The can does not won't to start. It sounds like it does but does not. And now this morning the batterie is died. What could this be??

if you take the key and turn it over then back then over then back then over (just dont try to start it just to make the fuel pump come on)the codes will display where the mileage is and then you can google the codes to find out what it might be.you can look up the video on youtube if you like to see how it is done
