I OWN A V6 3.8 LITER IT HAS A TICKING NOISE THAT COMES FROM THE DRIVER SIDE CYLINDER HEAD I CAN PIN POINT THE NOISE AND WERE ITS COMING FROM AND ITS HORRIFICLY LOUD ON A COLD START BUT QUITS DOWN WHEN WARM IM NOT SURE IF ITS A LIFTER OR ROCKER

Could be a valve lifter problem-try engine flush, oil and filter change and see what happens
Would running synthetic atf work? i did that in my old 350 and cleaned out all the carbon build up but im not sure on the new motors its a 2002
