Van bucks (a clunking feel @ rear) when accelerating, occurs again when coming to a stop. Gets worse as van warms up The "clunking" doesn't always occur. Usually when warmed up. It gets worse the more I drive. It "clunks" 4, 5, 6 times as I accelerate, gets progressively harder. The reverse happens when you slow down and stop. Checked u- joints, no problem. Van doesn't vibrate at speed. Transmission seems to shift and work properly.

I would look at the joints again. Did you remove the rear drive shaft and check for a seized joint?
