I need to get the computer to reset to pass smog but I don't know all the procedures to get it to reset the fastest. I know I need to cold start it a lot and I'm sure there is more to it. Do you know the procedure I need to do to get it to reset the computer the fastest?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to reset the computer and pass the smog testing. Basically, this will set a P1000 code until all your monitors run which are what watch the emissions system.

Here are a couple of guides that talk about this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/smog-test-inspection-information

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/scan-test-is-incomplete-p1000

In order to force the monitors to run because you will fail smog if these are not completed as well, you will need to perform the drive procedure below.

Basically, if you drive the vehicle in this fashion then it will pass the monitors as long as there is no issue.

Please run through this info and let us know what you find. Thanks
