Air just comes out into the cab from all outlets. We cannot direct it to defrost or floor only, etc.

Check the connections from the HVAC controls to the airbox blend and diverter doors.

Our reference only shows vehicles available in the U.S. I can't find anything on a 180SX.

I'm sorry. My Sentra is a GXE, not a 180SX. Does that make a difference in how to fix the airflow problem?

Thanks!

Probably not, but it sure does in what information I have available in my reference. See the image. Make sure the arm attached to the cable is moving when the mode control (defrost/vent/heater) is moved. If the lever is moving correctly, it's probably broken inside the airbox.
