I took my jaguar x-type for diagnosis and a VSS Code come up. What does this mean and how do I go about it?The problem that made me take it for diagnosis is that when I engage the gear on drive the car jerks and does so while it engages the other gears while driving.

VSS = VEhicle Speed Sensor.

This sensor keeps the transmission computer updated of the vehicle speed and can cause harsh shifting.

Check the VSS circuit and sensor condition. Is the Speedometer working?
