Driving at about 60 mph, car just shut down, almost like trans dropped out. Motor revved until I pulled off to a stop & car just died. Towed car home, now when u open door its makes a solid constant tOne as if lights left on. Car will not turn over, but the pwr locks & headlight work. Possible ground issue? Cant even get a code. Help?

So do you have a crank no start?Or no crank no start?Have you had the battery tested yet?Do you have a multimeter?Did you make sure the battery cables are clean and tight?

I got it started. There was some burned up wires underneath the relay box under the hood. Hope that never happens again. But to answer you, the batt's brandy new & the cables were nicely snugged up. Thank you!
