Door lock.

My 2001 ford focus passenger door is not opening. It remains lock. Can u help me how to fix it pls. I try to unlock it with key , I cant hardly turn the key but still remain lock and wont open. How can i unlock the door. I can move handle but it open it remains lock. The safety door is unlock. So idont know whats wrong.

There is no magic trick to get the door open and in fact, getting the door open may be an even bigger problem than the repair itself. You have to get the door panel off first to even access anything and that can't be done without damage with the door closed. Sometimes a locksmith can access something through the window opening but I wouldn't get my hopes up on that one.
