Can I put a 97 escort 2.0 sohc vin-p 8th digit into a 2001 ford focus that had a 2.0 sohc vin-p 8th digit?

We only recommend direct fit parts.

this is no problem its the same motor.call the dealer and see if the ecm is the same for both years.
