Rough idle at cold start

2001 crown vic On my first startup of the day have low idle(bat light low volt) once the car warms up all symptoms disappear is this a ect sensor problem

Check the charging system and also the ECT sensor

Alternator is charging at14v. Just checked resistance on etc and is very low. 1.7kohms

Check the Idle Air Control motor. If it is dirty or plugged, it will give a low and rough idle condition until it warms up.

Wher is the ect sensor on 2001 crown vic, wha I think is the ect has a 2 blade connecter and is coated with plumbers putty
