This car is overheating and has spent a month at Meinike. I have the cooling fans replaced, the thermostat and housing replaced and the head gaskets checked and sealed. The car will run fine for 35 minutes or so then overheat. Strange thing is, the thing will run great then a check engine light comes on. Then the transmission starts to buck and the car starts to climb in temperature about 5 minutes after that light comes on. The check engine code is for the transmission. Strange but I cannot continue to pour money into this vehicle.

Next time it gets hot shut engine down and pull fan relay then put hand on radiator in several spots. If you feel any cold spots the radiator is bad. It should feel same temp all over. If corroded and fins loose on sides or bottom it's junk too.
