You're going to need a scan tool to analyze the sensor data and look for what it out of parameter.

i noticed smoke coming out and it smells like antifreeze. this happens about a minute or two after i start the engine. someone said it could mean a head gasket. is this possible?

It's a coolant leak but head gaskets rarely leak externally. You need to pressure test the cooling system to find it.
