2000 Volkswagen Passat Repair Question

I have a 2000 Volkswagen passat , I think the air/heater switch is bad. Howdo I take the front panel off to replace the switch? Thanks, John Cowin
The switch became hard to to turn and just did not feel the same.

you could have a cable bad or pinched someplace causing this. you first have to remove trim panel then screwsthere are lugs for tirm panel that must be depressed with a c=screwdrive. i'm sending pics along
