It stopped running about three months ago. I cannot seem to find out what is going on. I can put starter fluid in the intake and it will start up but then shuts off almost immediately. I used to be able to add starter fluid and it would start and if I put it in neutral and let it warm up, it would run, then when I turned it off if I started it again within fifteen or thirty minutes it would still run, but if I went past that magic time then it would not start again unless I added the starter fluid in the manifold. Now, it will not stay running at all it just starts with the fluid but then quickly shuts off. We replaced the fuel pump yesterday, and it started up immediately, and stayed running for a few minutes. But as soon as it was turned off, it would not start up again. I had someone read the codes, but nothing came up except for a temperature control sensor. Does not seem to be getting fuel to circulate. Please help!

Could you please give me the exact code number not code descriptions you have in the computer? That will really help. A bad coolant temperature sensor can cause no start etc like your experiencing.

Thank you for your response SATURNTECH9 sorry for the delay in my answer, have been trying to get in touch with the friend you had the machine that read the code. Tell me when I spoke to him he does not remember the code number but it is a bad temperature sensing unit.
