My service engine soon light came on and on the way to get the code it went off. Someone told me that even though the light went off i could still get the code pulled because it stores it in the cars memory. Is this true. Thank you.
It is possible, and freeze frame data will tell you what was happening when it set the code.
Ok let me run this by you my car has an erratic idle and uses more gas than is should. I got converter checked it was good had the o2 sensors replaced and put fuel injector cleaner in but problem still exsist. I thought i might be map sensor and it's an easy fix, but i dont want to keep spending money when i dont need to any ideas.
