Three days ago, I was driving home. I was driving about 65-75 miles an hour. My air bag light came on and stayed on while I was driving. When I arrived home the light was still on. Since that time, my air bag light stays on in the car. There is no other problem with the car that I have notice. About four weeks ago or less I had my front passenger side automatic lock switch changed. The motor went out. I have no idea if it has anything to do with what is happening now with the car. What do I need to do to figure out and fix the airbag light so it will not come on and stay on while I am driving.
thank you

Hello
Thanks for the donation.

The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) or air bag system is a vital safety feature in your vehicle. If the air bag light is illuminating for longer than one minute, you need to have a diagnostic scan done. A professional repair shop will use the Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB) test to access the SRS on-board diagnostics of your vehicle and pinpoint the issue. This will ensure your vehicle is repaired correctly and in a timely manner without "throwing parts" at it, so to speak. Please see your local dealer or reputable repair shop to have your SRS issue solved as soon as possible.
