what would cause my durango to not want to start, cause battery drainage, and once I get power back I have to hold my foot on the gas and put it in drive to take off or it will die again. The battery is testing good.

every time the battery goes dead, you loose the idle info for the computer. it has to learn how to idle again.

as far as the drain, you need a shop to track it down for you and give you a bid.
