The truck will not fire off by itself, it requires pouring fuel in the throttle body, but once it fires off it has no problem running. What might be causing it not to fire without pouring fuel in the throttle body?

It sounds like you have what we call a lazy fuel pump. Basically, it doesn't produce enough pressure to start it, but will maintain the engine once running. Check fuel pump pressure to confirm it is within spec. If you need directions, refer to our homepage under the DIY section for directions and a video.
