So both upper and lower radiator hoses are getting really hot? What reading on the temp gauge is the fan coming on?Also do you have a infared temp gun so we can see what temp the cooling fan is actually coming on?

Actually the both upper and lower radiator hoses are not that hot. We did a Temp test with the infared temp gun couple days ago, when the temp gauge was hitting red line, the engine seemed to be on the normal temp. Can it be the hose going from the thermostat to the heatcore by any chance. Maybe not plugged right?

Reading on the temp guage when the fan comes on is after it passes the half line and goes up 3 more lines. Then the fans kicks in.

I think it was 180 - 190. The Hoses were hot, but not super hot, because i just started the car it was sitting there for about 2 hrs before i started it and the temp gauge started going up after a good 5 - 10mins.
