We have a 200 BMW 323 - the other day when our son was pulling out of the garage the car leaked a stream of oil all the way down the driveway into the street - we called him to come back home and looked over the car. It was not leaking any oil at all, oil level looked good no lights on in the car and it was running fine. What could cause the car to do this and is it safe to drive?

Have you tried same sequence again? It does have a warning system for oil loss/pressure loss so driving should no be problem. You may want to get it looked over for any loose oil related parts like oil filter.

Thats if it's engine oil that was leaking? Not power steering or transmission?
