1999 Pontiac Grand Am miss fire

Has a miss fire at low rpms when cruising but when it down shifts it runs fine at hi rpms put new plugs in it and it run great for 2 days now it's doing the same thing. Sugestions?

were the plugs you removed fouled at all?

Yes they looked bad and I think it has a blown head gasket it's a 2.4 twin cam
